Updates

Notes from the work.

Short, specific and true. What we see inside real environments, what’s changing for the organizations we serve, and what to do about it. Created in-house by the Aero team, not a marketing agency.

All updates

  1. Cyber insurance questionnaires: saying yes is easy. Proving it takes records.

Cyber insurance renewal has a way of showing up with a questionnaire longer than your last lease. The hard part isn’t answering it. It’s backing the answers up.

  2. “Dear Valued User” is not a support strategy.

Somewhere in Southern California, an office manager just opened a support ticket and got back a reply that started with “Dear Valued User.” We think that person deserves better.

  3. What Copilot can see, and why that is the first question

Microsoft 365 Copilot is already in most organizations’ licensing. Before anyone turns it on, one question matters more than any other: what can your people already open that nobody remembers sharing?

  4. Antivirus checks IDs. EDR watches what happens after guests walk in.

Antivirus turns away the troublemakers it already knows. Endpoint detection and response is for the ones it doesn’t.

Have a question one of these raised?

Thirty minutes with a support specialist, not a salesperson. Bring the situation; we’ll tell you what we’d look at first, and say so if we’re not the right fit.
